The practice concentrates in immigration law. We deal
in immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing as well
as representing clients in removal proceedings and in

Robert G. Nadalin received his J.D.
from South Texas College of Law in 1998 and his B.A.
in Japanese from Ohio State University in 1993. He is
active in the community and serves on the executive
committee of the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana
and is also the Program Chair. Mr. Nadalin is also the
Young Lawyers Division Chair for the San Diego Chapter
of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and
has served on the Chapter’s Department of Labor and
Pro Bono committees. He is a member of the State Bar
of California and the State Bar of Texas and has been
admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern
District of California, Northern District of Texas,
and Southern District of Texas. Mr. Nadalin is fluent
in the Japanese language.
Jonathan D. Montag received his J.D.
from the University of San Diego in 1994, and his B.A.
in Near Eastern Studies and International Relations
from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. He also
studied economics at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.
He is an Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist
certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal
specialization.
Mr. Montag is on the editorial board of Immigration
Today, the American Immigration Lawyers Association
's (AILA) monthly magazine and is a member of the AILA
- USCIS National Benefit Center Liaison Committee. He
is a former San Diego AILA Chapter Chair. Mr. Montag
has lectured at conferences hosted by AILA and the State
Bar of California in matters relating to the immigration
law and has published widely in the field. Mr. Montag
has argued successfully before the Federal District
Court for the Southern District of California and the
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also testified
as an expert witness on immigration law in the federal
district court. He is a member of the State Bar of California
and has been admitted to practice in U.S. Court of Appeals's
5th and 9th Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for
the Southern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California.
Mr. Montag was named an Attorney of the Year by California
Lawyer Magazine for extraordinary achievement in immigration
law in 2005.
